Transit visa

This visa allows you to travel from a third (i.e. non-Schengen) country to another third (i.e. non-Schengen) country through the Schengen area, each transit not exceeding five days.

  • Duration: 1 to 5 days
  • Number of entries allowed during this period: one or more entries

Airport transit visa

This visa allows you to pass through the international transit area of a French airport but affords its holder no access to countries of the Schengen area.

  • Duration: duration of journey
  • Number of entries allowed during this time: 1 or 2 entries

Short-stay visa

This visa allows you to visit one or more countries of the Schengen area for a time span lasting fewer than 90 days.

  • Length of stay: 1-90 days (in any 6 month period)
  • Number of entries allowed during this time: 1 entry / or multiple entries

Multiple-entry visa

This visa can be granted to any resident of the United Kingdom who makes several trips per year for business or personal reasons.

  • Length of stay: 1 to 90 days every six months over a period ranging from 1 to 3 years.
  • Number of entries allowed during this time: multiple entries.
